Fees & Sessions
Fees
Sessions are charged at £6.25 per hour and can be taken in any combination provided we have space available – we aim to offer maximum flexibility for families depending on their needs.
There is a £20 joining fee which covers the cost of all our administration plus your child’s bag, wet bag and sun hat!
The government will fund 15 hours per week for any child, starting from the term after their 3rd birthday. If your child is eligible for this, we will explain the process for you and fill in the necessary documentation for your child. There are also funded hours available for two year olds and 30 hour funding for three year olds for some families. All details and eligibility information can be found on the website www.childcarechoices.gov.uk
We can help with any of these applications so if you need us, just ask.
Please note that any sessions taken outside of the government funded 15hrs will be charged at the normal £6.25 per hour rate.
Contributions
We ask for a small contribution towards snack and activities to ensure we are able to offer a range throughout your child’s time with us, this is added into the termly invoice:
A healthy snack contribution of 40p per session - each session we provide your child with a variety of fresh fruit and vegetable options for snacks as well as milk. Water is freely available throughout the day.
£20.00 per term to cover cleaning and maintenance of the preschool.
£10.00 per term towards consumable resources, including craft supplies, baking ingredients and play resources.
These are listed separately on your term’s invoice.
Payment
Fees are invoiced termly and we accept direct bank payment (preferred) or cash.
Ladybirds also accepts payment through the government ‘tax free childcare’ accounts. Check out www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare for more information.
We massively appreciate prompt payment and just ask that if you have any difficulties with making payments that you kindly let us know, as we would be more than happy to talk through this with you.
The committee review our fees on a regular basis and we do let all parents know of any changes with a minimum notice of half a term.
